The Bulul is a pre-industrial totem of the Ifugao tribe of the northern rice fields of Luzon, the Philippines. Hand carved out of wood and placed around rice fields to absorb unwanted energies away from the harvest, or in front of homes to ward off dangerous spirits, the Bulul is also traditionally casted in brass to become a pendant to protect its wearer. Allen Litton was given one of two remaining brass Bulul pendants by Kelly who works directly with the Ifugao. As the Ifugao no longer have the capacity to produce these brass pendants, the Ifugao have given Allen Litton permission to re-make the bulul pendants and help preserve and share Ifugao culture. 15% of all proceeds from the Bulul Totem Pendant will go directly to Culturaid Philippines in support of the Ifugao.
