In this world, metaphors are used as communication tools that blend and compress complex ideas into fewer words. 'Bodies as clothing' is a metaphor that serves two consequential functions: First, that our own bodies are like clothes & vice versa, our clothes are also bodies of their own. Second, after grasping the concept that inanimate things such as 'clothes' can also be 'bodies', we start adopting an animist's perspective on objects and things. All things in fact, are 'alive', made of tiny vibrating atoms, which all originated from one source, an 'original maker' to whom through the web of existence we are all inter-consequentially interconnected.
